Connect ChatGPT
Set up the Linkwiz connector and choose read/write permissions in ChatGPT.
Your Linkwiz login is all you need. No API key or secret to create. You must be a workspace owner or admin, with API access included in your plan.
Add Linkwiz to ChatGPT
In ChatGPT, enable Developer mode in Settings → Security and login. Then open Plugins → Create app → Create MCP App. Labels and availability can vary by account.
Name the connection Linkwiz and paste this URL:
https://app.linkwiz.ai/mcpChoose OAuth, then User-Defined OAuth Client in Advanced OAuth settings.

Which permissions should I select?
For reads, select workspace:read, reports:read, profiles:read, analysis:read and imports:read. To also create reports and add people, select reports:create and profiles:add.
Each write still requires a separate review and approval in Linkwiz.
Sign in and choose your workspace
Select Connect / Sign in with Linkwiz in ChatGPT.
Sign in with your Linkwiz account, choose your workspace, review the requested permissions and select Connect workspace.
Reads use existing data. Creating reports or adding people requires write permission and your approval in Linkwiz; accepted profiles are then queued for scanning under your plan.

Why is there no API key or secret?
You authorize access by signing in and approving a workspace. ChatGPT stores the resulting OAuth tokens automatically. The client ID is public; it is not a password. Do not enter a Linkwiz REST API key into the secret or bearer-token field.
The connection failed or no tools appeared
Check the URL and client ID above, refresh the connector’s tool list, then reconnect if needed. Custom connector availability depends on your assistant account and organization settings.
For access denied, check workspace membership, selected permissions and your plan’s API access. If write permissions were added later, reconnect and approve them. An expired development tunnel requires a new URL and connection.
Disconnect or switch workspace
In Linkwiz, open Workspace settings → Integrations → Disconnect to stop future access. Connecting again to the same assistant replaces your account’s previous workspace connection. Previously shared conversations remain in the assistant.
